How do you take your coffee?

Black.

How many coffee cups do you drink on an average day?

It’s rare I make myself an actual cup, as throughout the day I’ll be tasting constantly.

Do you enjoy having your coffee with pastry alongside, and if so, what is it?

Not usually.

Do you have a favorite Single-origin coffee?

I always get excited when Kenyan season comes around. My most memorable coffee from the last year was probably the Kenyan Kangunu from The Barn.

What was the most unusual or experimental coffee you tasted?

Experimental? I’m not sure… But Ethiopian naturals are always the most surprising and unusual for me.

What is your favorite coffee shop and what makes it enjoyable?

When I’m in London I always enjoy Milk Bar in Soho, the coffee has been consistently excellent over the years and the vibes always relaxed.

From your experience, what is the most important factor when it comes to making good coffee?

Good quality water.
